We offer support in product development to make the most of the potential of additive manufacturing, a technology that can be effective in the creation of prototypes but also in the production of components for use in serial production.
Starting from the CAD modeling phase, the component is redesigned in order to reach functional and aesthetic targets with maximum printing efficiency. Thanks to topological optimization, the structural mission of the component is considered in order to lighten it where possible while leaving the performance unchanged from a reliability point of view.
For thermoplastic materials we distribute the FDM printing solutions of Bigrep, a German company based in Berlin and leader in large format solutions.

Powder Bed Fusion
Powder bed fusion process uses thermal energy to melt specifi c points on a layer of metallic powder. The thermal energy – generated by a laser source – melts the powder material, which then solidifies as it cools, creating the part layer by layer. After the melting of one layer, the platform lowers, and the powder recoater deposits a new layer. This process is repeated until the complete component is manufactured.
BEST FOR: COMPLEX PRODUCTS, PROTOTYPES.
Laser Metal Deposition
The laser metal deposition process uses focused thermal energy generated from a laser source to fuse powder metal sprayed at the focal point of the laser beam. This laser beam melts the deposited powder to the component. The laser is coaxial to the deposition head which moves in 3 to 5 simultaneous axes. A rotary tilt table can also be installed in order to keep the melt pool created on a horizontal plane.
BEST FOR: REPAIRS AND COATINGS, ADDING FEATURES TO EXISTING PARTS
